Jellyskin has recently released their new track, “Grey Glass Hat.” This indie-grunge trio is made up of Zia, Will, and Olly, and they’re from Leeds, in England.
“Grey Glass Hat” has so many layers of sound. In the beginning of the piece, the instrumentals swell and recede, creating wavelike sounds. This track has a mellow yet brooding feel to it, as the music crescendos up to the chorus before settling again. Jellyskin’s voice melts in with the instrumentals, as they sing, “Why don’t you go away? Why don’t you leave this place?” This track is surely unlike any other.
