London’s Skinny Girl Diet recently released their new album Heavyflow & we now have the honor to present the following exclusive Week in Pop guest selections from the trio of Delilah Holliday, Ursula Holiday & Amelia Cutler:

Friends of Betty, “Bill the Scary Clown”

I love the dissonance of this record it’s insanely melodic and the lyrics are really cool, this is definitely my favorite type of music. They are a cool punk/folk band from the 80’s that formed in Chicago and they are incredibly underrated.

La Misma, “Arete”

La Misma are one of my favorite modern punk bands, I came across them at DIY spaces for London and they blew my mind, I’ve been a big fan ever since.

Castration Squad, “X Girlfriend”

Early death rock band that included one of my favorite singers Alice Bag as one of the members I love their attitude, music and their tongue in cheek misandry.

G.L.O.S.S., “Give Violence a Chance”

One of our favorite modern punk bands, they gives us life and they stand for everything we believe in.

7 Year Bitch, “Miss Understood”

We are all really big fans of 7 Year Bitch they make us feel liberated, I also love the groove of this song. This band is awesome and they also collaborated with one of my favorite comic book artists of all time Jaimie Hernandez for one their album covers.
