Cross Record, who spent all of 2013 continously impressing us, performed several shows at the just-passed SXSW, one of which you can hear in its entirety thanks to the good folks at NYCTaper. The show recording exhibits exactly what makes Cross Record so affecting—her beautiful voice paired with her warbled guitar and interesting effects makes it feel like we're really there. Cross Record, not surprisingly, is just as touching to hear in a live recording as in her wonderful records and self-releases.
