At the unsustainable rate at which they're throwing out new versions of their material, the Australian band's musical integrity risks structural implosion, mashed and re-mashed by so many creative hands at once!
Having signed to Polyvinyl Record Co. in North America, the band now plans to release their single “Heart it Races” as a CD with two remixes and two covers and a 12″ with three other remixes, in preparation for the release of their third full-length, Places Like This, on August 7th.
The CD single includes remixes by YACHT (Jona Bechtol of The Blow) and DJ/Rupture (already up on his myspace) and two covers, by Dr. Dog and Hey Willpower.
The 12″, along with the YACHT remix, includes remixes by A-Trak, Pink Skull and Franc Tetaz. (Download an old Tetaz remix of Helsinki here).
