Black Marble boogie boards the dark wave

Black Marble

It would be easy to classify Black Marble as another band with an over zealous nostalgia for anything 80s-meets-Edward-Scissorhands in their viewfinder, but like an East Coast version of The Soft Moon, they're able to transcend the cliche stereotypes. This Brooklyn 3-piece have yet to play out live, though they promise a debut show in the not so distant future. Expect many synths.

Black Marble currently have four recorded tracks they've been steadily peddling, and “Pretender” caught our attention. We're also throwing in “MSQ” for good measure. And if you want more, you're in luck, because you can catch them here, here, here, here and here.
