Former Giant Famouz readies debut LP

Famouz

Famouz (aka FMZ) opened for E-40 at 15-years old before diving into a football career that started at Rutgers, passed through a four year walk on career with the New York Giants and ended with a stint playing in the Arena Football League for the Nashville Kats.

Having walked back off the football fields and into hip hop, his debut LP Ghetto Passport sees Famouz again getting a little help from E-40 on the track “Trippin”. And he's not trying to shake off his athletic past in any nosedive for hip hop credibility. In March he hosted a public party with Kobe Bryant, Luke Walton and Brian Cook and as he states himself, “I have a lot of friends that still play football. They know that I’ve been working on this music stuff for along time. I’m not going to mention names right now, but come on, I was a former Giant. But aside from those surprise guests, in the long run, my music will definitely speak for itself.”
