We've been enjoying the music James Friley's been making under his Idiot Glee moniker, so we asked him to take part in Impose Records' cassette series. He turned around this spacey nod to the Beach Boys.
Along with Brian Wilson, he also cues Aurthur Russell as an influence, and with its lush harmony that dissolves to a minimal rumble before showing off his official crooner status, “Do You Wanna Go?” feels written with that combo in mind.
