MELT, “Out Of Line”

Summit, New Jersey’s punk pop 4-piece MELT – comprised of four gentlemen whose roots go back to their high school days – have been hard at work on Riffer, an album due out this month. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of the first single from that upcoming album, a song titled “Out Of Line”, right here.

This song begins like a familiar pop rock song – which it soon becomes – and it doesn’t let up from the first chords. The vocals hit with an intense amount of reverb and are flooded a bit under the instrumentals, but after a moment your ears adjust and you’re able to pick out the lyrics with much more clarity. It is truly a beautiful cacophony of sound that we can see ourselves swaying our hips – and perhaps even moshing – to at a show.

Riffer is out this month via Top Shelf Records (tape) and Danger COllective Records (CD, vinyl). Keep up with MELT on Facebook and Bandcamp.
