Northside 2012: Jack Shack Records Showcase

Post Author:

On Saturday, June 16th Brooklyn's own Jack Shack records put on a show case at Union Pool featuring the New York debut of Boston's White Pages before Pampers, Call of the Wild and Foster Care tore up the stage each celebrating the release of new records.

Jack Shack is one of the newer, better record labels from Brooklyn giving coverage to gaps in the NYC area garage/punk/other scene. This showcase was celebrating three new releases from the label. Foster Care's debut album Bad Vibe City, Call of the Wild's debut 7″ The Call (what no “Autobahn?” Come on!), and the second Pampers 7″ Guts.

Foster Care's website is here and you can hear a sample track here.

Call of the Wild's website is here and you can hear a sample track here.

Pampers has no website that I can find (I blame the name). You can follow them through Jack Shack and you can heard a sample track here.

White Pages can be found here.

Foster Care. Foster Care! FOSTER CARE! (soundtrack enclosed)
