Dream Version, "Fight Fair"

Post Author: Ian Schneider

Dream Version‘s new video for “Fight Fair” reflects the band’s upcoming album of the same name.  The Chicago based trio of Eric Brummitt, Alec Jensen, and Michael Kunik, have been working hard on this upcoming album and plan to start touring this summer after its release in July.
Alec Jensen elaborates on the song’s meaning for us. “This is a song about the psychology that prevents me from taking action against evil, in this case because my Protestant upbringing and the idea of being the bigger person makes me more critical of myself than of others.”

The video for “Fight Fair”, the single, shows the band performing in what looks to be some kind of warehouse.  The main player in this video, however, is not the band itself, but instead the projector used to create distorted images and the bowl of water that they are washing their hands in before they fight.  With a simplistic percussion beat and wailing guitar, the song rings out and puts the focus on the lyrics.
Tour Dates:
07.08.17 – Chicago, IL @ Lincoln Hall (Album Release Party)
