In the latest installment of our music and food series Song and a Slice, Albuquerque, NM rock band Prism Bitch stopped by to play a couple songs, then make a namesake pizza, the “Prism, Bitch.” The quartet of singer/keyboardist/guitarist Lilah Rose, bassist/vocalist Lauren Poole, guitarist Chris Walsh, drummer Teresa Esguerra, released their debut album Perla in 2021, and have spent the last few years relentlessly touring the country–very often with indie rock legends Built to Spill (Esguerra is also the BTS drummer).
Out on their own headline tour, the band were in the Bay Area for a weekend of shows, and graciously stopped by to play a newer song, “Shy Guy,” plus a bonus song, the garage-rock banger “Woman.” Check out videos of both songs, along with the band making their namesake pizza that features ingredients from all the colors of the rainbow…
