Jneiro Jarel goes dub

Blake Gillespie

jniero jarel

Jniero Jarel a.k.a. Dr. WhoDat? was discovered by Bomb Squad member Hank Shocklee in 2003, since Shocklee put him on, he's become one of hip hop's most abstract producers.

A member of Willlie Isz with Khujo of Goodie Mob and a member The Shape of Broad Minds, Jarel might not be a household name yet, but the kid is knocking at the doorstep. Proving his versatility, he recently dropped his Can I Dub Your Tape? No!!! mixtape. The mixtape is a collection of trunk rattling, synth heavy dub music and a few Willie Isz songs tagged on at the end.

We are not claiming to know jack shit about dub music. But we will concur that this tape is some serious business. The download is one 45 minute mp3, which is frustrating, but party friendly. Just don't let anyone touch your iPod, having to start all over would be a bitch.
