Not that Impose readers should really need a refresher on Montreal power-punk duo Solids—the band whose warm distortion-born scuzziness could sedate a wild animal—but they just released their second single, “Haze Away,” off the forthcoming Blame Confusion record (previously self-released in the Canadian motherland), and we felt like gushing a little more. People who've obsessed over early Guided by Voices song transitions will find themselves delightedly drawing parallels, among other emotional reactions this track illicits.
