Though the end of Brooklyn venue 285 Kent is forthcoming, one staff member at Impose predicted that they would not go gentle into that good night. (Some of us call him our little baby Nostradamus.) Announced today via Pitchfork are the last remaining shows to occur ever at the space whose location confused our understanding of the word “eponymous” and whose cube-style brick-layered enclosure was never intended to be a place to enjoy music. All salty feelings aside, the last shows will likely be sorrowful for some. Pitchfork, Ad Hoc, and Todd P are in cahoots to present the last remaining events, details for which are all listed below. DIIV is scheduled to perform, but sadly, no Death Grips.
