Led by three part harmony, Bloomington, Indiana’s six piece neo-pop collective Ladycop – whose current lineup consists of brainchild Chelsea Sherman, Alex Arnold, Kenzie Main, Biz Strother, Charles Roldan, and Kyle Houpt – has been revving up for the release of their Undercurrent EP this month. We have the exclusive premiere of the EP’s title track first.
Light, hollow percussion. Ethereal vocals, replete with reverb to make you feel like you’re floating on a cloud amidst the direct – and welcome – contrast of heavy electric guitar. It’s upbeat, and there are certain aspects that really drive home for several different genres.
Ladycop is releasing their debut Undercurrent EP on CD and limited edition pink-purple swirl tape cassette on November 11th via Tree Machine Records. It is available for preorder now.
