Complex Judgment Night

On Thursday, October 18, Complex Media presented a free, CMJ showcase called “Judgment Night” in which acts battled each other by performing on two stages at Brooklyn, NY's House of Vans. On the hip hop stage, The Alchemist spun two DJ sets while there were rap performances by Ka, Ratking, SpaceGhostPurrp and Action Bronson. On the rock stage, there were sets from Savoir Adore, Savages (playing their second US show ever) and Paul Banks. Action Bronson stole the show by giving out weed to people in the crowd (again), rapping in the audience and bringing out Asher Roth for a song before closing the concert.

In the battle of hip hop vs. rock, we think that the former won last Thursday night.
