Motherhood

The methods & controlled madness of Motherhood; photographed by Matthew Roy Legere.

Canada’s Motherhood delivers a look at their fun lyrical performance video for “Twosies” from their Forward Music Group album Baby Teeth. A video practically made in one single shot, get ready for the full spectator audience-experience of witnessing Motherhood live in prime DIY fashion. The group offers a listen & view of their mathematical approach that hinges off the band’s entertaining synergy & artful dodging by way of designing their equations & strum-structures. Motherhood’s Penelope Stevens shared some words on the new material & upcoming tour:

We all came of age playing in Motherhood, so it’s exciting that we’re finally able to go south of the border and see how our twang translates in another culture. We’ve got some really cool shows lined up, and we’re pretty stoked to be driving across the continent again. Driving across Canada has been a pretty amazing experience, but doing the drive through the US will let us see some things we’ve always wanted to see.
